グレイトギフトのオクトセブンとは花という意味？

グレイトギフトのオクトセブンとは、「花」という意味があると考えられます。

なぜなら真犯人の名前とワンセットになっていると考えられるからです。

オクトセブンの「オクト」は数字「8」の接頭語で、セブンは数字「7」。

これを筆者の推理している真犯人の名前と合わせると、「茉莉花まつりか」になります。茉莉花は、モクセイ科ソケイ属の常緑低木の植物で、ジャスミンの一種です。

また茉莉花という名前はペルシャ語からきており、「神様からの贈り物」という意味があります。

そのためグレイトギフトのオクトセブンには、「花」という意味があると考えられるという訳です。

もしかするとグレイトギフトの真犯人は、自分が作った球菌を「神様からの贈り物」だと考えたのかもしれませんね。

オクトセブンの基になった球菌は、細菌の研究やワクチン開発などの課程で、既存の細菌が突然変異を起こしたことによって誕生したと考えられます。

オクトセブンが作られた場所は、国立生命理工学研究所だと考えられます。

しかし、あまり自信がありません。

第7話で、旧型オクトセブンは国立生命理工学研究所で作られたことが分かりました。こちらの考察は自信なかったのですが、筆者の考察通りでした。ありがとうございます。
グレイトギフトのオクトセブンの考察3：名前の由来

オクトセブンの名前の由来は分かりません。

ただし、いくつかオクトセブンの名前の由来は考えられます。

例えば日付や暗号等。

仮に名前の由来が日付の場合、次のようなものが該当すると考えられます。発見日
思い出の日
誰かの誕生日
誰かの命日

これらの日付が、オクトセブンの名前の由来になっていると考えられます（多分、見当違いの可能性が高い）。

しかし名前の由来が日付だとしても、「8月7日」と「10月7日」のどちらを示しているのかは分かりません。

メタ的な発言になりますが、もしかすると脚本家の黒岩勉さんはウルトラマン好きなのかもしれませんね。ゾフィーの「M87光線」が由来のような気もします。

奈良茉莉の茉莉と87で、M87になるので。

偶然だと思いましたが、このようにも考えられるという例で記載しておきます。

第7話で名前のy由来は、発見した月日だということが分かりました。

ちなみに旧型オクトセブンは、「10月7日」に発見されたそうです。
